Return Policy
Purchasing & Returns
When purchasing through the Mallee Data website, you agree to pay the listed price for each product (the “Purchase Price”). Payments are securely processed through Shopify Payments or other approved payment gateways (collectively referred to as the “Payment Gateway Provider”).
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agree to Mallee Data’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any relevant terms set by the Payment Gateway Provider.
Once payment is confirmed, Mallee Data Pty will issue a receipt as proof of purchase, and your order details may be securely stored for future reference.
Change of Mind – Before Dispatch
If you decide to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, you’re entitled to a full refund including shipping, minus a 2% processing fee to cover non-refundable transaction costs incurred by Mallee Data.
This applies only to payments made via Shopify Payments.
Change of Mind – After Dispatch
Mallee Data Pty Ltd may, at its discretion, accept change-of-mind returns within seven (7) days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

The product is unused, unopened, and remains in original, saleable condition.

The packaging has not been damaged, modified, or altered.
If your return is approved, you will receive a store credit (not a cash refund). Store credits can be used toward consulting services or accessories only.
Please note: a 20% restocking fee (up to a maximum of $100) may apply for products requiring inspection, testing, or repackaging.

If your return is approved, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions for sending your product back. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Faulty or Defective Products
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact Mallee Data Pty at malleedata@gmail.com. The item will need to be returned at your expense for testing and evaluation.
Once received, Mallee Data will assess the product and work with you on a resolution.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty, your return shipping costs will be reimbursed upon receipt of a valid postage receipt.
Depending on the case, Mallee Data Pty may provide a replacement, a store credit, or, in some situations, a resolution without requiring the item’s return if sufficient proof of fault is provided.
Return Shipping Costs
You are responsible for all postage or courier costs when returning a product, including any charges for shipping items to suppliers when applicable.
Shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases where a returned product is confirmed to be faulty after inspection by Mallee Data.
